Rig Amps is an independent website. It may be paid through affiliate links: when you click a link to a brand store and buy, the store may pay us a commission, at no extra cost to you. This is a material connection under the FTC's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255), so we disclose it at the top of every page with such links, close to the links themselves, and here.
Where we stand on November 7, 2026
- No affiliate program has accepted the site yet: every link goes to the store's product page without tracking.
- Programs we intend to apply to: BougeRV and EcoFlow, BLUETTI and ALLPOWERS on the Awin network; Renogy US on Impact.
- ICECO and Battle Born: we found no affiliate program open to a site like ours. Their links are plain links and will never earn us anything. We list them because their figures help you compare.
How we work
- We have not bought or tested any product. We never describe performance, noise or reliability from experience. We compare what the makers publish on their product pages.
- Every figure has its source and the date we read it (November 7, 2026). When a figure is not published, we say "not published".
- Our tools apply published figures and simple arithmetic, explained under each tool. Calculations are marked [calc].
- No brand pays to be listed or ranked. "Our picks in 30 seconds" follow a written rule: the cheapest product that meets the stated condition. Tables are sorted by price or by the tool's result. The commission never decides; a store without any program can be picked.
- We publish no customer reviews, no scores, no stars and no "tested" claims (see also the FTC rule on fake reviews and testimonials, 16 CFR Part 465).
Prices
Prices are those shown by the brand stores on the day we checked, including sale prices. A struck-through price is the store's own compare-at price; we never compute a discount. Prices change often: check the store before you buy. More detail: How we compare.
